Start with the friction
List the tasks that recur every week. Look for clear inputs, a repeatable process and a result a person can verify. An email classification workflow is often easier to evaluate than an open-ended agent.
Map the handoffs
Write down who owns each step, which tool holds the information and where delays appear. Define a useful success measure before choosing a platform.
Build a small boundary
Start with one trigger, one source of information and one outcome. Keep approval for consequential actions. Log the result and create a fallback when the workflow cannot proceed.
Measure, then expand
Compare time spent and error rates with your original process. Review a sample of outputs regularly. Add complexity only when the first workflow is reliable.
